We offer individualized consultations, assessments, and educational planning services for families of highly gifted, profoundly gifted, and twice-exceptional learners. Our work is strengths-based, relational, and designed to support thoughtful decision-making, effective advocacy, and individualized learning pathways.

Consultations

60-Minute Consultation

A comprehensive, strengths-based consultation for families seeking guidance on complex educational questions.

This option is recommended for:

  • New families

  • School advocacy and placement planning

  • Review of assessment results

  • Homeschooling considerations or transitions

  • Learners with complex or asynchronous profiles

Fee: $150

30-Minute Consultation

A focused consultation for families with a specific question or follow-up need.

This option is recommended for:

  • Targeted questions

  • Follow-up conversations

  • Clarifying next steps after prior work together

Assessments

Iowa / CogAT Assessment Package

(Homeschool families only)

This package is commonly used for gifted identification, school advocacy, placement, and acceleration discussions.

Includes:

  • Iowa Assessments (academic achievement)

  • CogAT (cognitive profile)

  • Online testing completed at home over a three-day weekday window

  • Coordination of scheduling by Sequoia Gifted & Creative

  • Results typically available within 3–5 business days

  • A 30-minute consultation to review results and discuss key takeaways

  • Optional letters validating scores for organizations such as Mensa and CTY (included)

Suite of Tools™ Learning Profile Assessment

A strengths-based learning profile assessment designed to support educational planning, school advocacy, and individualized learning pathways.

This assessment focuses on how a learner thinks, learns, and demonstrates understanding, and is frequently used to inform conversations with schools and other educational partners.

Includes:

  • Guided learning profile assessment process

  • Interpretation and synthesis by a trained gifted/2e specialist

  • Consultation to review insights and implications for planning and advocacy

Homeschool Curriculum Curation

Individualized Curriculum & Learning Pathway Package

This service is designed for families seeking intentional, strengths-based homeschool planning for highly gifted or twice-exceptional learners.

Includes:

  • 1–2 hour collaborative meeting with the learner and parent(s)

  • Curated curriculum and resource recommendations aligned with strengths, interests, and goals

  • A personalized curation slide deck

  • Follow-up consultation to review recommendations and refine next steps

Fee: $600

Sequoia Gifted Academy (SGA)

Sequoia Gifted Academy (SGA) is our homeschool umbrella program for highly gifted and twice-exceptional learners.

Families exploring SGA may use consultations or services above to determine fit.
SGA support may include:

  • Educational guidance and individualized planning

  • Relational mentorship

  • Peer connection opportunities

  • Access to one-to-one instruction and/or micro classes for highly and profoundly gifted homeschool learners (based on availability)

  • Access to college consulting consultation
