Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Sequoia Gifted and Creative strives to provide timely, individualized services while respecting the schedules of all families.
Consultations
Consultation appointments are reserved specifically for you at the time of booking.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please email sequoiagifted@gmail.com at least two (2) hours before your scheduled appointment time.
When at least two hours’ notice is provided, your appointment may be rescheduled without penalty, subject to availability.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Appointments canceled with less than two hours’ notice, missed appointments, or appointments for which a client is more than fifteen (15) minutes late without prior communication may be considered forfeited.
Because appointment times are reserved exclusively for each family, fees for missed appointments or late cancellations are generally nonrefundable.
At our sole discretion, we may choose to waive this policy in cases involving emergencies, serious illness, or other exceptional circumstances.
Once assessment work has begun, fees are generally nonrefundable.
If circumstances require rescheduling of testing, every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate a mutually agreeable date.
School Advocacy Services
Advocacy services often involve substantial preparation before meetings occur, including document review, strategy development, communications, and customized written recommendations.
Because much of this work occurs before a scheduled meeting, advocacy fees may become nonrefundable once substantive work has begun.
If an advocacy meeting is postponed by a school or another third party, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule services whenever possible.
Customized Services
Customized reports, Educational Fit Analyses™, advocacy letters, homeschool planning documents, presentations, curriculum recommendations, and other individualized work products are created specifically for each family.
Because these services cannot be returned or reused, fees become nonrefundable once work has begun.
Digital Products and Downloads
Unless otherwise stated, digital products, downloadable resources, templates, presentations, recorded materials, and other electronic content are nonrefundable after purchase due to their immediate accessibility.
If you experience difficulty accessing purchased materials, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
Programs, Cohorts, and Workshops
Registration fees for parent cohorts, workshops, webinars, classes, or similar educational programs may be subject to separate registration terms communicated at the time of enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated, registrations are generally nonrefundable after the program begins.
If Sequoia Gifted cancels a program before it begins, participants will be offered either a refund or an opportunity to transfer their registration to a future offering, when available.

We understand that unexpected situations occasionally arise.
Requests for exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Sequoia Gifted and Creative.

Unless prior written permission has been obtained, purchasers may not:

modify or create derivative works based upon our copyrighted materials;
sell, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit any portion of our materials.
Reports, advocacy letters, Educational Fit Analyses™, and other individualized documents may be shared with professionals directly involved in supporting the learner for whom the materials were prepared, including teachers, school administrators, psychologists, therapists, physicians, evaluators, educational consultants, or attorneys representing that learner or family.
